With more than 28 years of professional experience in the field of Design, Mario Ménez is a Mexican Senior Industrial Designer specialized in lighting, furniture, Design Driven Innovation, Design Management and Strategic Design for local and international markets.   He works for customers in Scandinavia, Europe and Asia and has several products successfully selling in international markets.   His products are sold in more than 40 countries and every year they are exhibit at the main trade fairs in the world such as Milan Furniture Fair, Frankfurt Fair, Hong Kong International Lighting Fair, Stockholm Furniture Fair, Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, ICFF New York, among others.   In record time he achieved international recognition and by 2004 he was already considered one of the three most prominent designers that influence the home lighting business in Scandinavia.   Mario has won national and international recognitions and design competitions. He also has been leading several design organizations in Mexico and Sweden.   He obtained his master degree from Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden, which is consider the best design school in the world. Before he founded the consultancy firm MARIO MENEZ DESIGN in Sweden, he worked for different companies in Mexico, Spain and Sweden holding positions such as Chief Engineer, Industrial Designer, Design and Product Manager, Managing Director and even entrepreneur when he founded his first company at the age of 25 years old. This international experience together with his entrepreneur spirit, gives him a wide vision and understanding about Design, Innovation and Business.   Since 2004 he is the owner and founder of MARIO MENEZ DESIGN and since 2012 is giving training and Innovation workshops for companies.
