National Manager for the Trade and Investment Center – Amcham
Rodrigo Reyes is a graduate of the first Sino-American university, New York University Shanghai. Born and raised in Mexico and the US, he has lived in Austin, Monterrey, Shanghai, London, Palo Alto, and New York City. Rodrigo is passionate about policy, economic development, digitalization, startups, and binational technological advancement.
Currently, Rodrigo serves as the country manager for the Trade and Investment Center at the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico. In this role, he works to assist business members in developing their clients and sourcing partners through innovative approaches that foster member-to-member participation. He helps with import and export matters and provides assistance with soft landing and site selection for binational investment in the US and Mexico.
Rodrigo is also the founder and CEO of Aciento App, an innovative platform that helps restaurants fill their empty seats year-round by predicting their occupancy levels. The app provides incentives for diners to visit restaurants that would like to increase their customer base.
Prior to his role at Amcham, Rodrigo worked on finding sourcing partners at the World Trade Center and worked at Invest Monterrey as an economic researcher. He loves traveling and has visited more than 25 countries. Rodrigo is also a language enthusiast and speaks French, Chinese, Spanish, and English.
